The Thermacell MR450 Mosquito Repeller effectively repels mosquitoes and other biting insects by creating a 15 x 15-foot zone of protection for bug-free comfort. Built to be tough enough for any adventure, the MR450 will quickly become an essential piece of gear. Thermacell Repellers have been evaluated by the EPA for safety and effectiveness. Redesigned Grill The new grill design of the MR450 maximizes air flow and prevents oil build up. The new design also allows the Repeller to function in nearly any position including near-vertically. Rubber Armor In order to protect the Mosquito Repeller during storage and use, Thermacell designed it with rugged rubber armor. Overmolded rubber grips on the side of the unit increase grip in any weather conditions. There are also rubber contact points to ensure quiet placement. Zone Indicator LED lights on the unit indicate certain performance statuses. The LEDs will illuminate when the Repeller is warmed up and emitting the Zone of Protection. Additionally, the LEDs will automatically shut off when the temperature falls below the optimal level. The LED feature can be turned off while the device is in use, too.
